“After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.”

This verse marks the moment when Jesus begins the final steps of His journey to the cross. After enduring mockery, humiliation, and suffering, He is led away not in resistance, but in obedience to God’s redemptive plan. The Road to the Cross is not only a physical path Jesus walked, but a spiritual journey of sacrifice, love, and surrender, one that ultimately leads to salvation for all.
